1997
1997 was the year Habber Tec was born and Madrid was his hometown, in the basement of a client’s offices. Back then it was a small startup of four engineers who dreamed of changing the world through technology. The first services that Habber offered were training and outsourcing, in the then incipient areas of business information management and electronic banking. In those early days, it had already participated in some of the most important initiatives of business intelligence and Data Warehouse in Spain.
2006
Less than a decade after its foundation, Habber Tec crossed borders and in 2006 started operations in Caracas, Venezuela
2008
In 2008 in Lisbon, Portugal.
2009
In 2009 it merged with WG Systems to create Habber Tec Brazil. In this way it constitutes an international group, with coverage in Europe and America, leading the fields of advanced analytics and process automation.
2013
Throughout its history, Habber’s team has achieved hundreds of certifications in the most disruptive technologies of the moment and received various awards and recognitions, highlighting the one of 2013, in which Habber was selected by IBM as the world’s best BPM implanter.
2014
Habber Tec Mozambique was born in 2014, supported by the Portuguese Center of Competences and Development. This initiative has added value to the business of partners and clients in that country, through pioneering and innovative projects, mainly in the financial sector, in the areas of digital transformation (process management, mobility, web channel) and analytics.
That same year, Habber Tec became one of the first companies worldwide to become certified and deploy Watson, IBM’s pioneering AI platform. Since then, it has become a reference incorporating AI into its clients’ business processes.
2016
In April 2016, Habber Tec Brazil became part of the GFT Brazil group.
2019
In 2019, more than 22 years after its birth, Habber Tec has been recognized by IBM for the technological excellence of its implementations and, as its CEO from Spain, Ricardo Argüello, affirms, “we are proud to have become a strategic piece that has helped transform the businesses of hundreds of our clients in Europe, America and Africa. However, we continue to be fueled by the spirit of innovation that inspired us in a basement in 1997, to be better every day”.
